Features:
- The web service is accessible from the internet from July 2018.
- Input data can be saved in an input file and again uplaoded in a later session.
- No installation and no upgrades are needed for the webservice.
- The software runs on multiple dektop and mobile platforms whenever an internet connection with a suitable browser is available.
- A standalone Excel version is available as Excel addin for download.
- The web service as well as the Excel addin use the same calculation core developed in modern C++.
- The calculation follows the basic formulas for shell-and-tube heat exchangers in the VDI Heat Atlas.
- The fluid data come from the well-elaborated library CoolProp.
- The software is not necessarily tied to a special fluid property as CoolProp. Fluid data as grid data or from suitable other fluid libraries can also be used.

Possible working plan for the future:
- Pressure drop calculations for shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
- Twisted tape nad turbulator calculations for shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
- TEMA-Sheet output for shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
- Calculation of samples.
- Plate heat exchangers.
- (Fan-cooled) tube-registers.
